Production Coordinator Job Description

What does a Production Coordinator do?

·      You are the full administrative support for the production

·      Organise and ensure smooth running of the production office, maintaining filing systems 

·      Research and book all travel, transport and accommodation required for cast / presenters / contributors and crew

·      Creating, maintaining and circulating the contact list 

·      Maintaining all production paperwork including insurance details and claims, kit hire records and returns

·      Write all contracts for cast, crew, locations and archive material and make sure these are signed, returned and filed appropriately

·      Booking relevant kit needed for the production

·      Confidently negotiate and agree fees for kit etc. within the budget for the production

·      Issue daily call sheets which detail where everyone is going, how they are getting there and what is being shot

·      Ensure all Health and Safety guidelines are being met 

·      Manage petty cash and floats for crew members and ensures records and receipts are kept and filed appropriately

·      Works closely with the Production Manager ensuring the production delivers on budget

·      Able to prioritise workload in collaboration with the rest of the team
